It seems everyone has a different opinion on whether you should comment saying thanks after someone faves your work. Some think it is only polite to do so while others think it's nothing more than comment spam. Which is right I have no idea.

So in order not to upset either type of person I've decided to use this journal entry to say a pre-emptive Thanks to anyone who is going to fav my work or has done so but I haven't said Thanks yet. Also instead of leaving a thanks for the fav comment I am going to make a bigger effort to check out the gallery of the person leaving the fav.

I know just about every area of my drawing skills need work (if it isn't too late) but one thing I really can't do is thing up decent titles for pieces.

I guess all of the (very slight) creativity I have gets used up on the actual drawing and so there's no creativity left over to think up the title.

I don't really have much to say at the moment. Apart from the fact that seeing how good everyone else is still depresses me. So maybe this wasn't the best time for a journal entry but it's been so long since the last one I thought I should say something.

Looking at other peoples deviations gets me down. I feel like a charlatan for putting me stuff up here cos everyone else makes Art and I just do crappily drawn pictures.

Even if I have got slighter better I still don't seen what I've drawn as art and it will probably take twenty to thirty years to get to the level of being mediocre. but it's not just about talent because even if my drawing were drawn well I wouldn't see them as art. Like art implies some kind of deep and heavy meaning behind everything and works as a completed whole and I just draw bad manga cos I like drawing it.

Drawing instead of filling out my job application form is probably bad but there you go.
